Specialized Tarmac Pro Carbon Road Bike with Campagnolo Super Record/Record Groupset – 6.87kgs full build weight (without pedals) Here is your chance to own an excellent condition full carbon Specialized Tarmac Pro with some of the best components that money can buy. The frame is in absolutely pristine condition, it is hard to finds a mark anywhere on it as this bike has always been kept as a best bike and only ever taken out on very few rain free days. The Groupset is in excellent condition and working like new, having only covered approx. 500 miles. It consists of Campagnolo Super Record 11 Speed Shifters, Cassette and front and rear derailleurs. The chainset and chain are Record and the brakes are Centaur. The Super Record shifting is sublime! I have always been a fan of SRAM Red and until I had this bike I would always say it is by far the best but after trying this set-up I am now a Super Record fan. Granted I would never buy this set-up new as the price is insane but as soon as I started to use it I could see why. Perfect shifting every time and unlike other set-ups you can easily shift up or down 3 gears at a time for quick acceleration or deceleration whenever it suits you. Really lovely kit! The Wheels have done approx. 300 miles and look like brand new. The bike feels and rides like new and is extremely comfortable for all day riding due to the Zertz inserts in the seatpost. Such a lovely stiff, fast bike that just begs for more miles! £1350 O.N.O The wheels run perfectly true and are a lovely set of wheels weighing in at 1470 grams so not a bad lightweight wheelset and are in perfect condition with no wear on the rims at all. The full weight of the bike without pedals (which are not included in the sale) is 6.87kgs which is right up there with the best and even with this majorly low weight the stiffness of the frame is exceptional so every bit of power put through the pedals jumps straight down through the back wheel into the road and the bike just leaps forward! Only 70grams heavier than the UCI Legal weight limit so on par with the bike ridden in the tour de france, a true pedigree road bike!!
